Let’s get real for a sec.
Hey there, I'm Jess. Mom, coach, friend. My fitness journey began in 2014. I was a 225 pound mother of two active kiddos and was craving the ability to keep up. Those negative thoughts of having a “mom bod” started to get to me. That’s when fitness found me. My journey did not come without trial and error, laughs and tears, fears, sweat, a little blood, and lots of resilience.
My journey started as a fitness novice trying group fitness classes, small group training, and finally personal training. Little did I know once I had reached my goal of losing 70 lbs and finding my ideal body I would find happiness, but beyond that my passion. Educating myself along the way I was able to create healthy microhabits that compounded into greater habits of health. Starting with simple movement, purpose, and mindset my life began to change. Through my journey and gain of knowledge I found my stride. Simple movement became complex, even intentional. As I grew stronger, always a new challenge, never getting comfortable, always wanting more, looking for that greater purpose.
It was in 2015 that I took my greatest leap. I made the decision to become a personal trainer. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this is the direction life would take me, but it was natural. I have that burning desire inside to give myself to others. The desire to help others succeed, to help them believe that what at first may seem impossible can become possible. My journey started with a single idea, and then a simple step, and then another until I was in a synchronous stride and will stay there as long as I am willing to put 1 foot in front of the other. Yours can too. Fast forward a few years and my idea has become not only a lifestyle, but a thriving community, friendship, support, and fun. As they say do what you love, and call it work. I am happy to say that is my truth. I find my peace in the gym, working with people of all types. Fitness is all-inclusive, don't let them tell you otherwise. Young, old, strong, weak, bruised, or broken movement is life. Come just as you are, and start living!!
What Clients Are Saying
Jess varies my workouts to keep the training exciting and fun. All of the programs are specific to my body’s need. Jessica believed and pushed me until I was there, and then a little further. She has sound technique and teaches you proper use of weights and exercise equipment, never training strength over disfunction. –Shail
Jess has been instrumental in my recovery from back issues and torn plantar fascia. She worked on flexibility and strengthening the weak muscles as identified by my physical therapist, while tailoring workouts to strengthen the core, glutes, and legs. Thanks to the modified regimen Jess created for me, I was able to continue working out throughout my recovery and achieve the much needed core strength to prevent future injuries. –Mahira
Jessica gives you tools, knowledge and motivation to succeed. –Lily
I came to Coach Jess during COVID lockdown after seeing results of another family member she was training. Jess not only has helped with my personal physique and postural goals, but after each session, I am left feeling positive and ready to take on the world. –Chetana
